SKIN AGEING

A clinical trial evaluated the effectiveness of hyaluronic acid-based microneedle patches in improving skin hydration, reducing wrinkles, and enhancing skin structure. The results demonstrated significant improvements in all areas, highlighting the effectiveness of microneedle patches in addressing skin concerns.

*Based on a 12-week, monocentric clinical trial conducted on 20 European female participants with aged skin, aged 40-71 years old. The study evaluated the effectiveness of hyaluronic acid-based microneedle patches on skin hydration, wrinkle depth, and dermal density and thickness. Skin hydration levels were measured using a Corneometer® CM 825, wrinkle depth was measured using PRIMOS compact, and skin density and thickness were measured using ultrasound (SkinSkanner DUB®).
PIGMENTATION

A clinical trial was conducted to assess the efficacy of hyaluronic acid-based microneedle patches in improving skin pigmentation. The results demonstrated a significant reduction in pigmentation, indicating the effectiveness of the microneedle patches in addressing this skin concern.

A clinical trial was conducted to evaluate the skin tolerability and efficacy of Luna Microcare Flawless for acne treatment. The results demonstrated effectiveness of Luna Microcare in addressing acne by reducing sebum production, inflammation, and skin porphyrin content.
KEY FINDINGS:
- Excellent Skin Tolerability: The product was well-tolerated, with no significant skin reactions or irritations.
- Reduced Sebum Production: Luna Microcare Flawless effectively decreased sebum production by an average of -36.8% after 28 days.

- Reduced Skin Porphyrin Content: The product helped to reduce the levels of porphyrin, a byproduct of acne-causing bacteria, in the skin.
*Based on a 4-week monocentric clinical trial conducted on 20 individuals with acne (aged 18 and older). Participants applied Luna Microcare Flawless once daily for 14 days, then twice weekly. Skin sebum content was measured using a Sebumeter® SM 815, and skin porphyrin content was assessed using the Visiopor® PP34 camera. Dermatological assessments were also conducted to evaluate redness, inflammation, and overall skin health.
